These black books are adorned in a sophisticated, gilded lettering and design pattern, which can be seen on the covers and binding. There is wear to the covers and the original owner had written her information in the front section of some of the books; however, the set itself looks absolutely beautiful standing on the shelf and any wear was clearly from years of love and use.
